The Pedigree is an official document of every dog, including dachshunds, in Italy it is issued by the ENCI. It is the certificate of enrollment in one of the Herd Book Registers, important for demonstrating the genealogy of your dog, its genetic and physical history. In particular, the Pedigree indicates: the personal and identification data of the dog, the registration number in one of the Registers that make up the Herd Book, the genealogy of the dog up to the 4th degree of kinship (parents, grandparents, etc. .), any championships, beauty titles, reproduction titles, selections and health checks, owner data, breeder data and any transfer of ownership. For the Italian legislation the sale of dogs proposed as "purebred", without this quality being certified by the pedigree, is prohibited by the Legislative Decree n. 529 of 30 December 1992. (Cit. The Pedigree must be part of your dachshund's dog, whoever offers you the sale of a dachshund puppy without this document hides its origins, quality and possible health of the puppy. No breeder will not be able to sell his puppy without a Pedigree or with reservations on it, it is an act that you have the right to demand. In Italy the Pedigree of dogs is officially issued by the ENCI, while for abroad there is the Export Pedigree of dogs which is officially recognized by the FCI The original paper Pedigree with all the reported data will arrive after a few months directly to the owner of the puppy.
